The ALTERNATIVE Electoral Bloc continued its series of electoral meetings with citizens, this time in the Botanica sector of Chișinău. The leaders of the formation – Ion Ceban, Ion Chicu, and Alexandr Stoianoglo – presented ALTERNATIVE’s vision and solutions for responsible governance and a better future in the Republic of Moldova.
Ion Ceban: “Every citizen deserves a better life”
In his speech, Ion Ceban highlighted the transformations achieved in the Capital over the past five years, stressing that the same model of development can be applied nationwide.
“We have proven, together with the people, that the municipality of Chișinău can develop despite all obstacles. There is no more time to waste. Every citizen deserves a better life, and change is possible for the entire country,” Ceban declared.
He urged citizens to take an active part in the elections: “Talk to everyone, go out and vote, and support ALTERNATIVE. In just two years we can bring visible change.”
Ion Chicu: “People no longer need statistics, but solutions”
Former Prime Minister Ion Chicu stressed that ALTERNATIVE’s program is realistic, built on society’s real problems: inflation, rising bills, declining incomes, and the lack of prospects for young people.
“We created the ALTERNATIVE Electoral Bloc to unite society and fight populism. We come with clear commitments in essential areas—economy, education, healthcare, public safety—and not with cheap promises,” Chicu emphasized.
At the same time, he called for mobilization: “On September 28, we choose the people who will decide our fate for the next four years. Don’t let your vote be used by others.”
Alexandr Stoianoglo: “ALTERNATIVE is the force that can change the course of the country”
Alexandr Stoianoglo underlined the distinct character of the ALTERNATIVE Bloc, which does not engage in sterile geopolitical games but focuses on concrete solutions for citizens.
“People’s problems will not be solved either in the East or in the West. Solutions must come from here, from home. ALTERNATIVE means hope, dignity, and justice,” said Stoianoglo.
He also recounted concrete cases of abuses citizens have suffered at the hands of the authorities, stressing that the bloc aims to put an end to fear and injustice. “We will free people from fear, we will restore their respect and their confidence to live with dignity,” he added.
The meeting in Botanica confirmed the broad support enjoyed by the ALTERNATIVE Electoral Bloc among the residents of the Capital. The leaders’ common message was clear: Moldova needs responsible governance, based on unity, real solutions, and respect for citizens.
On September 28, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova are called to vote for change and for a better future. We have ALTERNATIVE!
